Dr Tony Aidoo, former Deputy Minister of Defence has been attacked by three unidentified men. Neighbours told “The Insight” that the three men tried to break into Dr Aidoo's home at Weija.
They apparently jumped over his back fence and cut through his mosquito proofing. An alarm was raised and they jumped over the wall and escaped. This is the fourth time, Dr Aidoo's residence has been attacked in several months.
Dr Aidoo who confirmed the story to The Insight said he was at home when the attack occurred. He said he saw the attackers who were trying to get into his bedroom through the window. Dr Aidoo has been denied the right to own a pistol for his own defence.
