What Contaminated The Message Of The Preacher?

When a carrier or a vessel is damaged and unclean, the oil, water or energy it carries is sure to be contaminated.

A contaminated oil when undergoes chemical reaction may not produce the best effect as a clean and pure oil would when burnt in an engine. With time, this contaminated fuel can reduce the power of the engine.

Also, when contaminated water is ingested into the body of a living organism, it is very likely to cause ill health on the body of the organism.

The life of every believer of the gospel of Jesus Christ in its own is a testimony to the society you live in. Hence, the sins a believer commits has greater magnitude of contaminating the testimony of the gospel to the unbeliever and the public as a whole.

Why then do you support corruption at the office you hold? Have you thought of your indirect message you must be communicating to the unbeliever and the young believer at the work place? You are very active with church activities on every church day yet, sins of fornication and adultery are other businesses you adore. Ain't you shaming your identity as the believer of the gospel?

Above are just the struggles of the single ordinary believer. However, a Preacher ought never undermine the woes of his or her secret sins.

Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke teaches that that: Little sin magnified in the lens of fame affects the gospel greatly than the ill effects of a common person's sin. Yeah, this statement is very true. This is because, the only reason for the increasing growth of the fame of the Preacher is his or her affiliation to Jesus Christ.

Therefore, in the opinion and judgement of the public, every action a Preacher takes does more than more to either shame or to Glorify the identity of Jesus Christ, which is the Gospel of Salvation.

A Preacher is like a big pipeline: a vessel carrying water which signifies life in the word and oil symbolising God's rain of anointing through him or her for the healing, deliverance and the blessings of the church. Hence, a Preacher's cleanliness as a carrier is very ideal for the perfection of the goodies he or she carries for the nourishment of the soul.

Likewise, when a Preacher gets his message contaminated, it causes a generational harm on the church. "So then, whoever disobeys even the least important of the commandments and teaches others to do same, will be least in the Kingdom of heaven" - Mathew 5:19.

The master of lies who misleads some Preacher's to give false messages to the people only dwells at a place where sin is honoured.

Sin is the carrier that contaminates the Gospel Message.

The first step to overcoming sin is it's consciousness. Confess today in prayer, 'Please Lord Jesus, I am a secret sinner, forgive me, Have Mercy on me, Grant me Wisdom to serve you well and Grace me with Righteousness.

Take a step of faith and turn away from your sins. God's Mercy never runs out.
