The Board of Directors of uniBank, a leading indigenous bank, has appointed Dr. Kwabena Duffour II as the new Managing Director.
He takes over from Felix Nyarko-Pong, whose tenure ends on 1st June, 2017 after leading the bank from 2012.
By the foregoing, Dr Duffuor II's appointment takes effect from 1st June, 2017.
Before his appointment to his new position, Dr Duffuor II was the Chief Operating Officer of the bank.
Ever since he rejoined the bank in 2012 as an Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, he has assisted the MD to steer the affairs of management team.
He has also helped the bank to attain its current enviable position within the banking industry.
The affable, energetic and vibrant Dr Duffuor II comes with a new touch of zeal, and is expected to lead the bank to new heights.
Kwabena Duffuor II holds a PhD in Finance, an Msc Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School, City of London, UK, and a degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Southampton.
He has over nine years' banking experience both locally and internationally.
He was formerly with the Ghana International Bank Plc, uniBank Ghana Ltd and Standard Chartered Bank and worked in various departments such as Retail Banking, Treasury Operations and Credit Risk Management.
