Accra, March 26, GNA - Prof. William Ampofo, president of the Ghana Cricket Association (GCA) has been elected onto the board of the Africa Cricket Association (ACA), as Director of Development.
Information gathered by the GNA Sports from South Africa indicates that, Prof. Ampofo went unopposed at the elections during the 17th ACA Annual General Meeting in Johanesburg last week.
The Ghanaian now takes over from Zulfikar Rehemtulla of Tanzania.
Meanwhile, Kwesi Sagoe of Nigeria was retained as the chairman of the ACA
