Huawei in partnership with Ghana's leading telecommunication network, MTN today launched the all new Huawei Ascend Y220 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.
The Huawei Ascend Y220 is a sleek smartphone which is more likely to lure more consumers to fall in love with it due to its cost and the phone's functionalities.
The “My First Smartphone” device has a 3.5 inch screen, storage space of 4GB with RAM of 256 and runs on Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) . It has a Dual core 1GHz processor and HSPA 21mbps giving you a faster speed. The battery has a long life capacity of up to 24 hours (standby) and over 12 hours (usage).
The Ascend Y 220 device also has other functionalities like camera, micro SD, radio and music players and it is socially connected; giving consumers access to social network platforms like Facebook, whatsapp and all you can think of.
Interestingly, the device supports as many as 5 mobile devices for hotspot usage at a time. It comes with a 1 year warranty and for 12 months, consumers will enjoy 65mins of voice calls and 200MB monthly data from MTN.
