Perez Chapel Opens Mataheko Branch

The new branch, which is located off the Flamingo Road, was said to cost over GH¢100.000.00.

According to Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare, the presiding bishop, it took great leadership spirit to attain the feat.

He said God had blessed Perez Chapel because of hard work and dedication of the congregation.

Bishop Agyin-Asare, during the ceremony, commended members of the church for their invaluable contributions.

Delivering a sermon, he admonished the congregation to continue the good works for the Kingdom of God.

He also advised them to be mindful of their actions so that they would not be enticed by worldly things.

'God cares about you. He cares about every member of your family. He has interest in your prosperity. But until you can show interest in the works of God you wouldn't realize that fully,' he said.

'We dedicate this church to protect the foundation of our family, nature and groom our children in the knowledge of God and be the center of the dissemination of the word of God which is the truth.

'We, the members of this church, are conscious of the great heritage committed to us. We pledge ourselves to the service of God, service to one another and to our community on this great day in the history of our church,' the congregation noted.

In September 1994, the headquarters of the new Perez Chapel International was established at the Nkrumah Circle (C.F.C Carpet House, now V.I.P Business Terminal) in Accra.
