The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has arrested four individuals, including an alleged drug kingpin known as “Whiteman”, during a targeted operation in Kasoa.
The arrests followed coordinated security searches that led to the discovery of quantities of suspected cocaine and other narcotic substances.
The alleged kingpin, identified as Dauda Iddriss, was apprehended together with his wife and two other suspects believed to be connected to an organised drug trafficking network operating within the area.
According to authorities, the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on drug trafficking and related criminal activities across the country.
The suspects are expected to be processed in accordance with the law while investigations continue into the activities of the suspected network.
NACOC has not yet disclosed the quantity of drugs seized during the operation or released the identities of the other suspects.
