Mrs. Kate Van-Baba (née Vanderpuye), sister of Joseph "Sonny" Vanderpuye publisher and editor of The New Ghananian Newspaper and co-owner of Sunlight Radio died on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington, VA. She was 41. She left behind her husband, Vincent Baba and her two children Astrid and Dag. She was an alumni of Akosombo International School, St. Mary's Secondary and Accra Polytechnic (Accra Poly).
