Groundnut price escalated in Takoradi and Techiman Market
Groundnut price went up drastically in the Takoradi market by 150 per cent. The 82kg bag of the commodity which closed the previous week at Ghc 120 now closed at Ghc 300. In Techiman, the commodity closed previously at Ghc 220 but now closed the week at Ghc 250 representing 14 per cent rise in the price of the commodity. The price of the commodity remained stable across the other markets.
