
Accra, Aug. 10, GNA – Parliament is expected to rise on Thursday, August 16.
The business statement for the week ending Thursday August 16, signed by Alhaji Abdul Rashid Pelpuo, Vice Chairman of the Business Committee said it also proposed that the House should sit on Monday, August 13 and might extend sittings when needed.
It said motions might be debated and their consequential resolutions, if any taken during the week.
Bills may be presented to the House for frist reading and those of urgent nature may be taken through the various stages in a day in accordance with their rules.
Papers and committee reports may also be presented to the House.
