
Cape Coast, July 12, GNA - The Central Regional Police Command on Thursday arrested two notorious suspected armed robbers from their hide out at Kasoa in the Central Region.
Briefing the press in his office, the Regional Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP), Stephen Andoh Koufie mentioned the robbers as Godfred Kofi Obeng alias Obeng Dankwa, 20, and Nii Lartey Okai, 26.
He said the two suspects who are unemployed and ex- convicts have been on the police wanted list for the past five months.
The Regional commander said the two have been involved in a number of robberies in and out of Kasoa and that on June 30 the police had a tip off and arrested them from hide out.
DCOP Koufie appealed to the public to visit Kasoa police to help identify them.
