
Sunyani, (B/A) June 18, GNA – Twelve football clubs from three zones in the Brong-Ahafo Region have qualified to compete in this year's Regional Middle League Gala competition at the Sunyani Coronation Park at a date yet to be confirmed.
The Clubs were the first four that emerged from each of the three zones that had 10 teams each in an all-play-all encounter.
Mr. Kwabena Munufie, Regional Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, (GFA) told GNA Sports In Sunyani on Monday that Sampa United, Japekrom Mpuasuman, Wamanafo Mighty Royals and Berekum Adwinpa are the qualifiers in 'Zone A'.
The 'Zone B' qualifiers are Kintampo Top Talent, Nkoranza Everton, Yeji Lazio and Wenchi Unity F/C, while Bechem Youngsters, Akrodie Nokia F/C, Sunyani Suncity F/C and Action United of Sunyani, represent 'Zone C'.
Mr. Munufie said the date for the commencement of the Middle League Gala was yet to be decided and therefore urged all the Clubs to keep on training to make the neccesary impact.
