The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) is saddened by the death of Mr. Jordan Anagblah, the Vice President of the Ghana Football Association. Mr. Anagblah has over the years assisted many of our members especially in their formative years at youth level.
His influence in youth football is unquestionable and he was a huge presence when Ghana won the U-20 World Youth Championship. Viewers of the images from the final will remember the genuine affection shown Mr. Anagblah by the entire playing body upon lifting the cup.
His leadership, care and genuine love for the game will be sorely missed. He cared about and worked to improve the welfare of the boys he encountered, many times even at his own expense.
The Association's work to improve the life of footballers during and after their careers was something Mr. Anagblah was concerned with. His mission to improve the game and its administration is an example that will continue to be a good guide in the Association's work.
May his soul Rest In Peace.
