Ho, May 24, GNA-Some pupils of the Anglican Primary School in Ho were on Thursday 'engaged' by the Volta Regional Education Directorate to unpack cartons of exercise books from a GETFund truck with registration number GV 81 T
and re-pack them in the Directorate's store.
Ghana News Agency (GNA) spotted the pupils, about 10 and one of them who said he was in class six, performing the task during class hours between 0900 hours and 1100 hours.
Some of them had their shirts off and went the rounds of unloading and packing, under the supervision of GES Volta Regional Directorate officials.
In course of the 'exercise' the GNA spotted two of the pupils, obviously tired, squatting under the truck for some respite but were commanded by a lady officer at the yard to get out from under the truck and resume work.
