The 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will today resume their 'tour to restore hope' in the Eastern Region.
The hope tour will take the NPP leader and his running mate to the Abuakwa North, Abuakwa South, New Juaben South and North and Kade constituencies, a statement issued in Accra and signed by Herbert Krapa, Press Secretary to Nana Addo, said.
During the tour they will outline Nana Akufo-Addo's overarching vision to create a society of opportunities and aspirations, which seek not to leave any Ghanaian behind in the nation's grand push for development and prosperity.
Nana Akufo-Addo is campaigning on the core themes of restoring hope to Ghanaians by providing free and universal access to secondary and technical education for all, prioritising quality teaching and the needs of the teacher, addressing the skill needs and jobs for the youth of Ghana, expanding access to healthcare, empowering Ghanaian businesses, rebuilding the nation's infrastructure, fighting corruption, tackling the housing issues of urban Ghana, and transforming the structure of the Ghanaian economy through value addition to agriculture, industrialisation and greater access to cheaper credit and technology for small and medium scale enterprises in Ghana.
