Mr Fritz Fredric Baffour on Saturday won the National Democratic Congress parliamentary primaries of the Ablekuma South Constituency.
Nii Dodoo and Mr Otukunor, who also contested the polls, obtained 230 votes and 78 votes respectively.
Mr Baffour, incumbent Member of Parliament for the constituency, thanked the NDC delegates for electing him to contest for the Ablekuma South seat in 2012.
He dedicated his victory to the party and called on the contestants to support him to retain the Ablekuma South seat.
He appealed to the supporters to assist the party leadership to deliver on the promise of ensuring a Better Ghana and development at the grassroots.
