WHY DRESSING AFRIKAN CAN NEVER BE KILLED BY THOSE WHO DRESS FOREIGIGN or WHY CONT/DIASPORA AFRIKANS DRESSING CONTINENTAL AFRIKANS FROM HEAD TO TOE IS OUR LIBERATION FROM THE INSULT OF DRESSING FOREIGN, By (c) 2012 by Prof. Afrikadzata Deku, Docteur d'Etat; Doctorat d'Etat (PhD); [email protected];

Whether we like it or not, Continental Afrikans the world over will never lose totally and completely their right to their Continental AFRIKAWAY of dressing.

And as long as various Afrikacentric nucleus groups exist everywhere in the Continental/Diaspora Afrikan world, endowing the Continental AfrikaWorld with one common Continental AFRIKAWAY of dressing can only be as natural, normal and inevitable as day and night.

However, to our few brothers and sisters of the Continental AfrikaWorld who preach Afro-centricity, Continental Afrikan Personality, or Negritude etc. in Foreign attires should remember charity begins at home.

We cannot talk of liberating our masses from Foreign domination and control until and unless we effectively liberate ourselves from most if not all the slave/ colonial vestiges from our lives.

By the same token, the above remark applies to our few brothers and sisters who also preach Afrikan Liberation in Arab/Moslem/Islam attires.

All because Arab/Moslem/Islam way of dressing is Arab way of dressing.

It is not Afrikan. AFRIKAWAY of dressing is Continental AFRIKAWAY of dressing - nothing more, nothing less.

Afrikan Liberation is Continental Afrikan Liberation - that is getting rid of all vestiges of slavery and colonialism from our lives.

It means the right to be Continental Afrikans in words, thoughts and deeds.

Anything short of that is treason, or collaboration with those make their living robbing us of who we are, what we have and what we want to do as proud children of Mother Continental Afrika.

The issue here is a question of freedom, honor, dignity and pride, as Continental Afrikans.

What kind of respect do we expect the "white" people to have for us when we cannot even do without their way of dressing?

Any time I go to a function in a suit or Foreign attire, I become one of the numbers.

No one notices my presence. But any time I go out in my Continental Afrikan dress from head to down, I become the center of attention.

Everybody notices my presence, and praises me for it. But in suit, I am completely a photocopy or a caricature of Foreign fashion.
