Takoradi, Oct. 12, GNA - The Dunewell Methodist Church Choir in Effia-Kuma has donated food items and toiletries worth GH¢500.00 to the Takoradi Hospital.
The Choirmaster of the group, Mr. James Etroo, said the donation formed part of the choir's outreach programme aimed reaching out to the sick.
He said last year the choir donated items to the Sekondi Prisons and said the visitation was done yearly to reach out to specific groups like those at the special schools, disabled and people who were depressed due to some circumstances in their lives.
A Nurse at the Maternity Block of the Takoradi Hospital, Madam Peace Dokeh, thanked the choir and appealed to members to remember health workers in prayers so that they would have the patience to care for the sick.
