Ghanaian traditional priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has claimed to have directed a new spiritual curse at British psychic Uri Gellar during a live appearance on Piers Morgan and Simon Jordan's World Cup Uncensored programme.

Speaking on the show on Friday, June 26, Kwaku Bonsam alleged that Gellar provoked him by publicly claiming he had neutralised the spiritual powers the Ghanaian priest said he had used against England captain Harry Kane ahead of Ghana's World Cup encounter with England.

According to Kwaku Bonsam, Gellar's remarks amounted to a direct challenge to his spiritual authority, prompting him to respond during the live broadcast.

Holding up a bottle that he claimed contained snakes, the traditional priest alleged that he had spiritually trapped the British psychic inside it.

“There is a man in the UK who said he is powerful and that he cancelled what I did to Harry Kane. I have put him in this bottle,” Kwaku Bonsam declared during the interview.

He maintained that he wanted viewers around the world to witness what he described as the extent of his spiritual powers and challenged sceptics who questioned his claims.

Kwaku Bonsam further alleged that Uri Gellar had underestimated him by insisting he could reverse the supposed curse placed on Harry Kane.

The latest exchange followed Kwaku Bonsam's earlier comments on the programme, during which he claimed to have lifted the alleged curse on the England captain, saying he admired and respected the striker.

The traditional priest attracted international attention after claiming responsibility for Harry Kane's failure to score in England's goalless World Cup draw with Ghana. His assertions sparked widespread debate, with some football fans dismissing the claims while others discussed them extensively on social media.

During Friday's interview, however, the focus shifted from Kane to Uri Gellar as Kwaku Bonsam used the platform to issue what he described as a fresh spiritual challenge to the British psychic.

The interview has since generated reactions online, with many viewers and football fans commenting on the unusual exchange between the two men.
