Ho, June 30, GNA – The Kilombo Community Education Project, a non governmental political organization, has embarked on an initiative to take the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial lectures to every constituency in the country.
The first of such lectures is slated for Peki-Wudome in the South Dayi Constituency on Saturday July 2.
These were contained in a statement submitted to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) by Mr Nani-Kofi, Co-ordinator of the Kilombo Community Education Project.
It said speakers at the lecture would include Mr Kwesi Pratt, the Managing Editor of “The Insight Newspaper” and Mr Nani-Kofi, Co-ordinator of Kilombo Community Project.
The statement said Mr Pratt was one of the key speakers at a similar function organised in Manchester, United Kingdom.
It said since the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ghana's independence Kwame Nkrumah has attracted increased attention.
Mr Nani-Kofi said platforms must be given to every Ghanaian irrespective of his status, age or location to discuss the legacy of Dr Nkrumah and how it relates to our current development.
