One person sustained serious injuries in another factory explosion at the Western Steel Company at Tema over the weekend.
This brings to three the number of incidents in less than two weeks.
The first two explosions which were recorded last week injured 13 people including one who later died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
Secretary General of the Ghana Federation of Labour, Abraham Koomson who informed Joy News about the latest incident said the victim was in critical condition at the Narbitah Hospital at Tema Community 4.
He said people were being prevented from taking photographs of the victim and no one was allowed anywhere near the victim.
The Federation had already petitioned government to close down the factory till it meets safety standards.
Mr Abraham Koomson however said he was disappointed that the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare had still not acted on the situation.
