The Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Mark Wayongo has explained the circumstance under which a soldier allegedly stripped a man naked after they arrested him for creating panic by shooting into the air.
Contrary to other reports, Mr Wayongo said he was told the shooter was already half naked by the time he was arrested.
A Security Analyst, Mr Emmanuel Sowatey has condemned the action of the soldier saying it was a violation of the fundamental human right of the suspect.
