NSA gives final chance to students with biodata mismatches to complete registration

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a final opportunity for prospective National Service Personnel whose registration has been delayed by biodata discrepancies to regularise their records before the August 26, 2026 deadline.

In a press release dated August 24, the Authority urged affected students who have been unable to resolve mismatches in their personal details to report to the NSA headquarters for assistance and the necessary corrections.

The NSA said it is working with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths to help students resolve the outstanding issues within the limited period.

Students who have not yet obtained the required affidavit will be assisted to prepare and swear the document as part of the correction process. Those who require Gazette publication will also receive guidance from the Ghana Publishing Company to complete the process.

The Authority has further directed students who already have their affidavits and/or Gazette publications to visit its headquarters with the original documents, together with any other relevant supporting records, to facilitate the correction of their biodata.

The NSA explained that once the discrepancies are resolved and the affected students' records are properly aligned, they will be able to proceed with their National Service registration.

It has therefore urged all affected students, including those who have completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are still awaiting corrections to their records, to report to the headquarters before the August 26 deadline.

Students have been advised to bring their original Ghana Cards and, where applicable, their affidavits and Gazette documents to ensure that the necessary corrections can be completed promptly.

The Authority stressed that the exercise represents the final opportunity for affected students to regularise their records and complete their National Service registration before the deadline.
