Aspiring Savannah Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ing. Dr. Clifford A. Braimah, has congratulated the newly elected Electoral Area and Polling Station Executives across the Savannah Region, describing the successful conduct of the elections as a major step toward revitalising the party’s grassroots structures.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Clifford commended regional, constituency, electoral area, and polling station leaders—as well as the broader party membership—for their commitment and active participation throughout the electoral process.
He noted that the enthusiasm displayed by party faithful demonstrates that the NPP remains united, resilient, and prepared to confront future political challenges.
Dr. Clifford urged members to move beyond internal competition and embrace collaboration, stressing that the real test of leadership begins after elections. He emphasised that every party member, whether elected or not, has a vital role to play in rebuilding and repositioning the NPP ahead of the 2028 general elections.
He further underscored the need for the party to reconnect with its grassroots base, strengthen its presence in communities, engage the youth and women, and restore confidence in the NPP across the Savannah Region.
“Success will not come through words alone. It will come through unity, sacrifice, discipline, and hard work,” he stated.
The Savannah Regional Chairman hopeful also called on party members to close ranks and work together toward securing victory in 2028 and increasing the party’s parliamentary representation in the region.
He concluded by wishing all newly elected executives wisdom, humility, and success in their new roles, expressing confidence that their leadership would bring renewed energy, growth, and victory to the party.
“Together, we will rebuild. Together, we will reorganise. Together, we will win,” Dr. Clifford declared.
