The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has announced free World Cup viewing centres and complimentary meals for residents across the constituency to support the Black Stars during the tournament.
In a post on social media, Mr. Dumelo revealed that he has paid for DSTV subscriptions at television viewing centres within the constituency and provided giant screens at selected locations to enable residents to watch Ghana's matches at no cost.
The designated viewing centres are located at Abelemkpe, Okponglo, Mempasem, Airport Residential Area, West Legon and Dzorwulu.
As part of the initiative, the MP said 13 kenkey vendors have been engaged to provide free kenkey and fish to supporters attending the viewing centres during Ghana's matches.
According to Mr. Dumelo, the initiative is intended to bring football fans together, foster community spirit and encourage support for the Black Stars throughout the World Cup campaign.
