President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday visited the construction site of some educational facilities at the Sunyani Senior High School to inspect the progress of work.
He urged the contractors to speed up work, as the school prepared to return to the single-track system.
The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) is funding the construction of the two-storey 12-unit science classroom block, two-storey 12-unit science laboratory block and the two semi-detached and two-storey staff flats.
President Mahama, who was at the school’s premises as part of his two-day “Resetting Ghana Tour” of the Bono Region, said those educational projects ought to be completed on time and handed over for use.
The President also visited the newly constructed building of the Bono Regional Office of the National Signals Bureau in Sunyani, as well as a proposed site for the construction of the Sunyani Airport at Nsoatre in the Sunyani West Municipality.
