THU, 26 FEB 2026

Global faith leader and humanitarian, His Excellency Bishop Dr. Akwasi Adu Amankwah, has once again been honoured with the U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award (2023), marking the third time he has received the prestigious distinction, the first being through RiseHer Incorporated.

The award, endorsed by President Joe Biden, recognises individuals whose community service and volunteerism have had lasting impact on society.

For Bishop Amankwah, the recognition is not a personal victory but a reflection of his lifelong calling. “To be recognised not once, not twice, but three times is humbling,” he said. “But it only reminds me that service never ends. There are always more people to help, more communities to reach, and more lives to touch.”

A trained physician and multilingual missionary, Bishop Amankwah’s work has spanned over 50 countries. He has combined medicine, ministry, and activism to uplift disadvantaged communities around the world. From health education to racial equality campaigns, from agricultural projects to faith-based initiatives, his contributions cut across diverse sectors.

In the United States, he has been recognised not only by the Presidency but also by civic leaders. In 2021, the Mayor of New York City, Hon. Eric Adams, presented him with a citation for his impact as a televangelist and radio broadcaster. He has also been honoured with international accolades such as the International Legend of Faith Award and the 3G Media Lifetime Achievement Award.

His message following his third award was clear: “Every plaque I receive reminds me of the widows, orphans, and families we serve. They are the true reason for what I do. My mission is not finished. I will keep pressing forward in service.”
