Ghanaian Statesman Honoured for Exemplary Leadership in India

Mumbai, India — The Board Chairman of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and a former Minister of State, Hon. Dr. Akwasi Opong-Fosu, has been honoured with the Exemplary Leadership Award at the 23rd Edition of the Business Leader of the Year® Awards, held at the prestigious Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

His public service record includes serving as District Chief Executive, Head of the Local Government Service, Member of Parliament with ministerial portfolios, and Founder and President of Africa Growth Solutions.

He currently serves as Board Chairman of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), a role central to positioning Ghana as a competitive investment destination.
