Accra will host the 9th edition of the Ghana International Trade & Finance Conference (GITFiC 2025) from October 29 to November 2, 2025.
The event, organised in partnership with the National Technical Working Committee of the GITFiC Agenda 2031, is expected to bring together some of the most influential voices in global trade and finance.
This year’s conference carries special weight as it will feature the 2nd Global Debt Initiative (GDI), which seeks to advance collective solutions for global debt sustainability, and the maiden AfCFTA Tertiary Students’ Congress, aimed at empowering young Africans to shape the continent’s financial and trade future.
The conference will run under the theme “Spurring GITFiC’s Global Debt Initiative; Consolidating Member States’ Gains for Synergistic Impacts.”
According to the organisers, the five-day event will convene Heads of State, Ministers, Central Bank Governors, international development experts, economists, business leaders, academia, and civil society actors to engage in high-level dialogue on debt, trade, and regional integration within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Participants are expected to benefit from thought-provoking discussions, high-level networking opportunities, and actionable policy outcomes that could help shape Africa’s financial and trade future.
Registration for the conference is currently open at gitfic.com/register-now. Interested participants may also contact the organisers on 0303209055 or via email at [email protected].
