Ghana's Akwasi Agyeman Honored at IconFest 2025

TheAfricanDream team greatly appreciate The Warner Music/Blavatnik Center for Music Business at Howard University, in the United States (US) for inviting us to witness their April VIP 2025 graduation reception dubbed IconFest.

The occassion happened at the exclusive Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Headquarters in Washington, District of Columbia (DC) on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 4:00 pm.

Among the 2025 honorees spanning the worlds of Business, Music and Culture was Ghana's Akwasi Agyeman - Former CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority and Coordinator of the Year of Return. Mr Agyeman was honored in the same category of Cultural Excellence as Muriel Bowser; Mayor of the District of Columbia, for his profound impact and leadership in fostering global cultural innovation, advocacy, and international collaborations that have been truly inspiring.

According to the event organisers, the work of Mr. Agyeman: "has not only elevated cultural diplomacy but has also empowered generations to embrace and celebrate the richness of our heritage."

IconFest 2025 was a celebration of amazing individuals who have made remarkable contributions to cultural preservation, artistic excellence, and global influence in the arts and entertainment industry.
