President John Dramani Mahama has named his Third Batch of Ministerial nominees.
The names of the nominees announced on Tuesday, January 21, have been submitted to Parliament, through the Speaker, for prior approval to serve as Ministers of State and Regional Ministers.
In all, President John Dramani Mahama has nominated 14 new Ministers of State and three Regional Ministers.
Among the nominated Ministers, Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah has been named Minister of Defence while the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Samuel Nartey George has been nominated as Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations.
Meanwhile, the MP for Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has been named as Minister for Health designate.
The three Regional Ministers nominated by President John Dramani Mahama include Puozuing Charles Lwanga [for Upper West Region], Joseph Addae Akwaboa [for Bono Region], and Francis Owusu Antwi as Minister for Bono East Region.
