2024 polls: My covenant with God overturned Rev Kusi Boateng’s NPP victory prophecy — Prophet Badu Kobi

Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, Founder of the Glorious Wave Church International, has claimed divine intervention as the reason behind the failed Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng’s prophecy predicting victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.

Ahead of the December 7 polls, Rev. Kusi Boateng had prophesied a first-round win for the governing NPP in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.

However, the NPP suffered a shocking and humiliating defeat, losing by over 1.6 million votes, the party’s worst performance in its electoral history.

Speaking to his congregation in a video shared on social media, Prophet Badu Kobi disclosed that his covenant with God overturned Rev. Kusi Boateng’s prophecy.

“God told me, ‘I love Prophet Kusi Boateng… I have given him power—that is why what he says comes to pass. But for this one, I am not giving it to him; I will give it to you.’ So, he is not a false prophet,” Badu Kobi explained.

According to him, the suspension of Rev. Kusi Boateng’s prophecy was a divine decision. “It didn’t happen this time for him… God said, ‘This is not for you; it is for Badu Kobi.’”
