(PROPOSAL)

(b) Janga District - Capital Janga
(c) Kpasenkpe District - Capital Kpasenkpe
2. East Mamprusi Municipality.
Land size: 1,706.8 km2
Population: 188,006
(PROPOSAL)
(a) Nalerigu Municipal—Capital Nalerigu
(b) Gambaga District—Capital Gambaga
(c) Langbinsi District - Capital Langbinsi.
Politicians in Mamprugu, both NDC and NPP, should bury their differences, forge heads together, and work for us to achieve the aforementioned target.
Let's also set aside our selfish community interests. We can't achieve anything as a people if we are inward-looking and take entrench positions on wanting things done in favor of only our communities.
The West Mamprusi and East Mamprusi Municipalities in terms of land size and population are more than qualified to be demarcated into three separate districts each.
The large size of our municipalities and constituencies is the major contributory factor to the underdevelopment of our region. Our MCE's and MPs are struggling with the same common fund to finance the developmental projects of our large municipalities and constituencies as compared to their counterparts with smaller districts and constituencies.
There are uncontrollable robbery activities in our municipalities because our security agencies are overwhelmed by the large size of our municipalities. The Municipal Commanders for East and West Mamprusi Municipalities receive the same funding as their colleagues with smaller districts, making them unable to patrol the large municipalities.
We, the youth of the North East region, need to sit up, bury our political and community differences, and press on our chiefs, politicians, and the powers that be to divide our municipalities to accelerate development in our region.
If it demands that communities in the East and West Mamprusi Municipalities should crisscross each other during this new demarcation, it wouldn't be a problem because we are one people.
The time is now!

It's a very good proposal, but looking at the distance from Kparigu to Janga will be a very disturbing situation if considered, more so I think Kparigu stands fall to be on it's own looking at geographical location, land mark, economic activities etc. Kparigu electoral area consists of Kparigu, Shalivoya, Binduri, Nabulugu, Boatani, Bugya, Boamasa, Boakudoo, Zasilari, Nadia, Moagogni, Tawariga, and Boayini.
