The chances of the NDC winning the upcoming 2024 general election are bleak as the flagbearer of the United Front Party (UFP), Nana Agyenim Boateng, aka 'Gyataba' declared his support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Gyataba made a public announcement with the executives of UFP at a press briefing held on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, at the Kumasi Cultural Center.

Nana Agyenim Boateng, who for years is known as a darling boy of John Dramani Mahama flagbearer of the NDC cut ties, premised on his reason that the NPP has performed far better than the NDC.

Addressing the media, Gyataba said under the tenure of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Ghana has witnessed much developmental projects and interventions than what the nation saw when John Mahama was President.

He told the press that, the good works started by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo must be continued, hence his decision to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by giving him all the needed political support to win the 2024 general elections.
