In a lengthy Facebook post, former National Democratic Congress (NDC) member Stephen Atubiga is yet again on the neck of former President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Mrs. Lordina Mahama.
Mr. Atubiga claims Lordina's alleged 'over-control' of Mr Mahama contributed to his defeats in 2016 and 2020.
"One of the unfortunate difficulties of JDM's backlash as president, contributing to his internal betrayal defeat in 2016, and 2020, was how his wife Lordina took control over her husband JDM's decisions," Mr Atubiga wrote.
The leader and founder of the NLC further noted that some government appointees were "afraid of Lordina, First Lady more, than her husband as president."
He also accused Lordina of "interfering or dictating her powers in their sectors."
The former NDC member advised the one-term President to "tame his wife or let his wife know her limits" if he wants to regain the presidency.
He also called on Lordina to "assure [the NDC] of her staying in her lane this time around."
