Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, the former Ghana HIV/AIDS ambassador shed tears while narrating how Ghana used her as an HIV/AIDS ambassador to raise funds without a pay.
She said government allegedly forced her to travel to schools and state functions to educate people about HIV/AIDS only to be dumped without her share.
Joyce Dzidzor cried as she spoke about the stigma she had to face in life after deciding not to hide her HIV inorder to educate the public.
According to her, she tested positive for HIV at the age of 19, and her life has been hell not because of her health status but how she was used and dumped despite the stigma.
The former HIV/AIDs Ambassador who was domiciled in Germany was back in Ghana June this year. She conducted a live TV HIV test together with her children and results proved she was positive with HIV.
According to her, she chose to do the test live on TV because of news speculating about the HIV status of her children coupled with attacks she has been facing from some members in the political circles about her HIV status claims.
She shocked Ghanaians when she came out a few years ago to allege that she wasn't HIV positive but connived with the Ghana AIDS Commission to become an ambassador for HIV.
