Stop Doing The Enhanced COVID-19 Testing Immediately And Use The Money To Clean The Dirty Gutters In Accra, Tema & Kumasi, President Akufo-Addo!

The coronavirus (COVID-19) positive case count in Ghana now stands at 5,127 (as at Tuesday 12th May). However, what the authorities are NOT saying is: how MANY of these positive cases were or are ASYMPTOMATIC (ie, people who were not showing any symptoms of the disease but were found to be positive on testing)? It is significant that the authorities tell us this number.

It is obvious President Akufo-Addo is in a bind over this COVID-19 matter, so let me put in my two pennies. It is now crystal clear that the MORE people Ghana tests, the more POSITIVE cases Ghana will get. Suppose the numbers get to, say, 10,000 positive cases? How will the authorities manage 10,000 cases, and rising? In a worst-case scenario, the positive cases could rise to 50,000, and rising, if Ghana continues to test!

I hope President Akufo-Addo reads what I have written here. Ghana is a BACKWARD Third World country; Ghana is not Europe, America or an ADVANCED country. Therefore, President Akufo-Addo should NOT listen to the WHO (World Health Organisation) too much because there is the danger of the WHO misleading the president into doing too much testing or doing too many tests. President Akufo-Addo must never be PRETENTIOUS; he must always remember that Ghana is a BACKWARD Third World country.

Therefore, my EARNEST advice to President Akufo-Addo is to STOP the COVID-19 (enhanced) testing immediately and only test those who are SHOWING symptoms of the disease. That way, he will not end up with 10,000 positive cases, and rising, on his hands. However, I encourage the president to CONTINUE with the other preventive measures - hand washing, etc - he has put in place, especially the closing of the land borders with Togo, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast.

President Akufo-Addo, if you do not heed the advice I am giving you here and you allow yourself to be MISLED by WHO, I predict you will become CONFUSED and LOST in the COVID-19 maze! It is very easy to be misled by glib-talking, seriously laid-back WHO Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

Here is my reason for advising you to STOP testing for COVID-19. You are dealing with two factors here: the IMPORTED Chinese COVID-19 and a MUTATED form of the COVID-19 virus which may already have been in EXISTENCE in the country long before the Chinese brought theirs in and which may already have infected many Ghanaians (black Africans) ASYMTOMATICALLY.

If, as the Chinese claim, COVID-19 is a NATURAL virus and not one SYNTHESIZED in a laboratory as a biological weapon against Donald Trump, then I am convinced that COVID-19, or a MUTATED form of it, may already have existed in the DIRTY, CLOGGED-UP, GERM-RIDDEN, OPEN gutters of Accra, Tema, Kumasi and many other areas of Ghana. Even the OPEN gutters along the road in FRONT of Ghana's flagship hospital, Korle Bu Hospital - called Guggisberg Avenue (named after the one-time British governor of the Gold Coast, Gordon Guggisberg) - are FILTHY and CLOGGED UP! Disgraceful!

I am equally convinced that it is this already-existing COVID-19 which is showing as the "community spread" of the disease, which has far surpassed "the Chinese imported spread" of the disease. It is, for this reason, I believe that the more people tested, the more positive cases that will be derived. Ghanaians (black Africans) generally live in VERY DIRTY environments and as such CO-EXIST with these viruses anyway. Therefore, why worry yourself with unnecessary testing?

China being a COMMUNIST DICTATORSHIP, the Chinese authorities first tried to suppress information about the new coronavirus (COVID-19) that was spreading in Wuhan. It was only after failing to suppress the information after several weeks of trying did the Chinese authorities alert WHO.

In my view, COVID-19 was already spreading around the world while the Chinese authorities were trying to suppress information about it. I believe that a lot of COVID-19 had already ENTERED Ghana during this time (November, December 2019), far BEFORE the ports and borders were closed (in March 2020).

Nevertheless, I believe that Ghanaian authorities have got a handle on the IMPORTED Chinese COVID-19 and that the increasing and continuing community spread being witnessed is the result of COVID-19 that ALREADY exists in Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo MUST realise that it is NOT business as USUAL from now on with regard to SANITATION. He must realise that the fight against COVID-19 is the fight against the DIRTY, CLOGGED-UP, GERM-RIDDEN, OPEN gutters in Ghana, and the generally DIRTY environment of Ghana. President Akufo-Addo MUST TAKE SANITATION SERIOUSLY in Ghana; right now he does NOT; he is COMFORTABLE living in SQUALOR! President Akufo-Addo's TOLERANCE of living in a dirty environment surprises me no end!

It would be odd indeed if President Akufo-Addo were to turn his back on Ghana's DIRTY environment again after COVID-19 disappears! President Akufo-Addo, please give us a CLEAN country to live in! A CLEAN country is FAR BETTER than a million factories! Keeping a CLEAN environment is a sign of a CIVILISED and INTELLIGENT society!
