Mzbel Reveals President Mahama as Her Celebrity Crush, Clarifies It’s Pure Admiration

Hiplife icon Mzbel has made a surprising revelation, stating that former President John Dramani Mahama is her celebrity crush.

The singer, born Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, has long been an outspoken supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and President Mahama. Her admiration has often fuelled rumours of a personal relationship—speculation she has repeatedly dismissed, insisting their interactions have always been strictly professional.

In an interview with Bullet TV, Mzbel did not hesitate when asked to name her celebrity crush.

“President Mahama is my crush… He is very handsome, the way he is tall and the way he talks,” she said confidently.

Aware that her comments could spark fresh gossip, the “16 Years” hitmaker quickly clarified that her admiration is purely respectful and based on appearance and personality.

She stressed that having a crush on the former leader “doesn’t mean I have any negative thoughts,” emphasising that her remarks should not be misconstrued.
