Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has stirred controversy with his recent comments on cheating in relationships.
During season 2 of a reality TV show, 'Young, Famous and African', 2Baba claimed that men are naturally wired to cheat on their partners.
According to 2Baba, "Men are wired like that. A man will love a woman to hell. Maybe he is somewhere, his dick would just decide to do something else. He will fuck, but he won’t even give a fuck about that person. He just wants to sort out that shit."
His wife, Annie Idibia, who is also a cast on the show, asked him if his opinion was based on a general belief or his personal views.
2Baba responded that it was his personal belief. The singer's statement has caused a stir on social media, with many Nigerians expressing their displeasure at his comments.
Some have accused him of promoting toxic masculinity and justifying cheating in relationships.
