General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministries, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah is pleading with the judiciary handling the case of Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo to have mercy on the socialite.
“The case is currently in court and I understand there is nothing we can do about this but I want to plead with the jury handling the case to have mercy on the young lady,” he told the host of Entertainment Review, Kwesi Aboagye yesterday.
He added that his plea was a sympathy-driven one and admitted he did not know the accused Rosemond Brown.
This plea makes the ‘Nation’s Prophet’ a part of the league of Ghanaians pleading with the jury handling Rosemond’s case hence the #FreeAkuapemPoloo.
“She has pleaded guilty with the offense and that should push the judge on the case to have mercy on her, and I trust that Rosemond will not repeat a similar offense in the future,” he pleaded further.
As it stands, the nation is poised as it awaits the court presided by Justice Christina Cann.
