When Kwaku Gyasi released his latest album Onyame Aseda last month, his desire was to reap the best by the end of the year 2005.In fulfillment of this vision and foresight; he has made the biggest gain in his life just getting to the tail end of the year.
He gracefully took his fiancée, Mercy Adu Poku, a Toronto-based woman to the altar, they joined in holy matrimony at the Church of Pentecost, Asafo in Kumasi over the weekend.
Beautifully decorated with gold and white the church was filled beyond capacity with people of all walks of life who expressed their joy by shouts and applauds during every session of the event ,especially when the captivating bridal march passed by each pew. Also in attendance were colleague gospel musicians who thrilled the event with their songs.
These musicians included Prophet Seth Frimpong, Elder Kwasi Mireku, Lady Prempeh, Ama Boahema and many more.
Speaking to Music in Ghana, an elated Kwaku said, "I give thanks to God for helping come true my primary resolution for the year 2005, to my fans I appreciate all they've done for me today looking at their massive attendance, prayers and donations".
