Reports reaching NEWS-ONE indicates that the wife of Malik Kweku Baako, Editor In Chief of New Crusading Guide, has given birth to a baby boy at a hospital in the United States of America.
The boy is Mr. Baako's very first son. He already has two daughters.
Isha Zuwera Baako reportedly gave birth to the baby boy last Wednesday. Expectedly, the male child, being a Wednesday born, would be called Kweku. Thus Kweku Baako Jnr would now have a son bearing the exact name Kweku Baako Jnr.
During Isha's pregnancy, Mr. Baako was reported to have described the yet-to-be born child as his 'pension baby', suggesting he would not impregnate her again and the child would be his last one.
It is however too early to conclude whether or not Mr. Baako would keep his word.
NEWS-ONE learnt the family is exceptionally thrilled about the arrival of the child as Mr. Baako had always prayed for a male child.
Further checks revealed that the couple would be returning to Ghana soon for the naming ceremony of their new boy.
Bombay and Isha got married on April 12, 2009 at a two-part wedding ceremony that saw an Islamic marriage ritual in the morning and then a secular high-profile dinner in Labone later on that evening.
This is the second child she is giving him since their marriage.
Before getting married to Isha, Mr. Baako had a daughter. NEWS-ONE checks reveal that she has grown into a very charming teenage girl currently schooling in USA.
In July 2008, Mr. Baako converted from Christianity to Islam and reports say the decision was largely influenced by his love for the spicy lady and his desire to marry her so they could live happily together ever after.
Baako, during the ceremony, just could not take his eyes and hands off his bride. In a response to the toast, he confessed that he never thought he would ever get married and that the experience caused some tension in him.
'Yes, just as Kwame (Sefa Kayi) has said, I never thought I could get married and I am a bit tensed…this is a new experience but I am sure with your prayers and with the support of Allah, I would succeed,' Baako said.
For Isha, she said it had not 'been easy grabbing' a celebrated bachelor like Mr. Baako who was known to have one eye for 'the gals and the other for a glass of quality brandy while sleeping with two eyes closed under the government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Mr. Kufuor, and slept with one eye opened under the government of Mr. Rawlings'.
