
Today at the National Theatre, 12 contestants will vie to be crowned Face of Legon 2010 with organizers promising the best event ever.
The 12, Selma Zakaria, Vanessa Adugu, Barbara Sam, Maame Ellis, Amanda Mensah, Innocentia Yebuah, Mamee Yaa Gyesi-Addo, Gifty Sarpong, Abigail Mensah, Mamee Akosua Agyepong, Mamee Akosua Agyepong, Sirina Mohammed and Grace Asare will come face-to-face with each other as this year's show has been boosted with a prize package of a brand new red and sleek GW Peri luxury engine car.
This year's pageant is under the theme: 'The welfare of the farmer and the role of the tertiary student' and it will be the first time a winner of the pageant will be presented with a car. Apart from the car, the winner will also walk away with an amount of GH¢1000 and a hamper. The first runner-up will receive GH¢500, an Accra-Johannesburg-Accra ticket, a laptop and a hamper.
The second-runner up will also receive GH¢300 and a hamper while the rest will walk away with GH¢200 each and a hamper. Rocking the show on the finale night are R2Bees, Skillions and Trigmatic, and organizers of this year's event, Dreamworld Ghana say, 'We are very positive and believe that Face of Legon 2010 will be the finest in the history of the pageant.'
