
Prior to the awards night in an exclusive interview with GhanaCelebrities.com, Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo said 'I am confident, I will win because 'About To Wed' has the highest nominations and even though I don't know who my competitors are, I think I played my part well'.
Truly as she said, the actress was announced as the best actress for the maiden edition of Terracotta Awards. She won the 'Best Actress' in the series 'About To Wed'.
Beverly is grateful to God Almighty for brining her this far and has expressed her sincere gratitude to her fans for supporting her career. Her opposite in the same series John Dumelo was also adjudged as the best actor.
Terracotta Awards is a new award instituted to award merit and outstanding contributions to the development of the movie industry.
Four Ghanaian namely Prince David Osie, John Dumelo,Yvonne Otchere and Beverly were nominated for the award.
