Ghana international, Kingsley Sarfo could be behind bars for ten years after his trial for rape charges began.
The 23-year-old has been charged with sleeping with underage in the country which breached the law in Sweden.
The player on several occasion has been allegedly involved in the scandalous act since joining Malmo FF.
Sarfo who is been accused of the offense has on countless times denied the accusation levelled against him.
On Monday, the footballer was summoned in court to begin his trial.
Coach Kwesi Appiah handed the player his maiden Black Stars call-up when he was invited for Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda last year but the allegations surrounding him has also halted his invitation to the Black Stars team.

On 30 September 2017 Sarfo was requested to be arrested following accusations of one case of attempted rape, and two cases of child rape.
As a result of the arrest, Sarfo was suspended from playing for Malmö FF, a suspension that was lifted on 11 January 2018 awaiting the legal process to be completed.
On 31 January 2018, Sarfo once again was arrested by the Swedish police, suspected of five cases of child rape against another individual under the age of 15.
