Former Ghana international Christian Saba has been named coach of Bayern Munich's U-16 team in the ongoing season.
Saba joined FC Bayern Munich's youth system in 1995 at the age of 16, alongside compatriot Emmanuel Bentil.
Neither were able to break into the first team, but the former did manage to stay with the club, playing for the reserves and being an occasional standby player for the main squad.
The 39-year-old started his coaching career in 2014 and has since been at the developmental stages where he helps groom young talents.
Christian Saba spent a lot of time in Germany, who he played for Hertha Berlin and Arminia Bielefield.
