Liberty Professional centre back Yusif Mubarak has completed a move from the Dansoman-based side to Obuasi AshGold.
The rocky defender has signed a three-year contract with The Miners and will be a sharp replacement for Abeiku Ainooson who left the club after his loan spell run out at the end of last season.
Yusif, 21, was one of the most consistent players for Liberty Professionals in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.
The decent defender finished last season without any caution and played all the 30 league matches for the Dansoman lads.
The defender who is partnered Samuel Sarfo in the league last season was at the AshGold Secretariat with his agent Mkysports Management on Wednesday to seal the three-year deal.
He is one of the few players who has joined the Miners ahead of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season.
