Inter Allies FC have confirmed the signing of midfielder Richmond Lamptey ahead of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
The midfielder was available on a free transfer and joined the ‘Eleven Is To One’ having stayed with WAFA SC for over five seasons.
After the signing of the midfielder, vice president of the club, Delali Eric Senaye said, “This player is an important addition to the squad as we look forward to each player’s performances to the team this season.”
His capture boosts the midfield options of the Capelli Boys as they look set to compete in the upcoming 2017/18 season.
“I am very excited to be here at Inter Allies, the Club has great plans and I’m happy to be part of the project,” Lamptey told the official website.
The midfielder made 26 appearances for WAFA SC with an assist and a goal, helping the Academy Boys to finish 2nd on the league table last season.
He was an integral player for the Black Stars B team and played in the 2018 CHAN qualifiers.
He also represented Ghana in the youth levels – in 2013 he was with the Ghana national U17 and 2014 got promotion to the U20.
