Millicent Ankude was born on 23rd January, 2000 in Hohoe in the Volta region. She was trained by Coach Raccoson Pra of the Hohoe Table Tennis club, and later by Senyo David, who himself is a fantastic player.

Millicent joined Anlo Senior High School and won many trophies for the school. As Captain of the school team, she led the team to win the super zonal championships three consecutive times. Again, she led the Volta regional Team to the Inter- Schools and Colleges Sports Festival where she performed tremendously well winning medals and trophies for the Region. By that performance, she won the best Athlete Award in her school as well as the region.

Sequel to that, she was selected to play in the National under 15 Championship in the year 2013. Unfortunately, she lost in the quarter final stage. She then came back strongly the next year 2014, with tactical display. She fought hard to reach the quarter finals but lost to Elizabeth Yeboah 2-3.

Millicent once again lost to Rabiatu Ofoli 1-3 and 2-3 to Matilda Fodo in the National Junior Championships 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Millicent was adjudged the most disciplined player for the 2016 Stanbic Bank National league, an accolade that motivates her to strive harder to achieve more to bolster her budding table tennis career.

Currently, Millicent Ankude captains Smartline@Emefs Table Tennis Club in the 2017 Stanbic Bank Ghana Table Tennis League.

Her aspiration is to represent Ghana in the Olympic Games in the near future.
