American lower side Real Monarchs have canceled the contract of Ghanaian kid Charles Boateng.
Boateng,19, joined the third-tier side on loan from Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy in January.
But the USL Pro side terminated the deal after just one month due to fitness concerns.
"His short loan deal has been terminated by the club [Real Monarchs], they said he can't fit into their squad" WAFA official is quoted as saying by Kickgh.
Boateng was WAFA's second top scorer with six goals in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.
He was a member of the Black Satellites which failed to qualify for the 2017 African Youth Championship.
